Parallels Sessions V – 5.3 Towards a strong foundation: The Principles that Public Engagement needs in a Europe-wide effort towards greater Citizen-Research exchange

In this session, we want to present the german Public Engagement Principles (“Public Engagement Kodex”), a document which was drafted in co-creation with practitioners from the field. In an interactive format we want to find out: What principles do you follow in your everyday work? Can the document serve as a blueprint for Europe-wide public engagement principles? What should be added, what should be changed? Therefore, this session fits perfectly to this year’s conference topic: We are pathfinders on the mission to create shared public engagement principles that guide us and that we share across borders.
