Double Keynote: EUSEA Young Talents

How Identities and Cultures Shape Online Engagement with Science in the Post-Truth Era

Showcasing the Next Generation of Public Engagers: In the past years, we have seen more and more early career researchers getting interested in Science Communication and Public Engagement.

This new generation will be key to supporting the implementation of a “culture change” towards more Public Engagement and Open Science practices within and beyond academic institutions. To honour early career researchers who pave the way for their colleagues, EUSEA will offer two Young Talents a place to shine and contribute their perspectives to the field.

EUSEA Young Talents are funded by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft

Shakked Dabran-Zivan: Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Education in Science & Technology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Anouk de Jong: PhD candidate in science communication at the faculty of Behavioural, Management and  Social Sciences at the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands.
