Rony Ben-Chaim and Eti Oron, Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem, Israel
We give different pathways to different learners to cope with complex STEM challenges. People come from diverse backgrounds, but we believe that it is important that everyone will have opportunities to participate in science learning, regardless of their personal or social circumstances. However, supporting equitable approaches to science learning outside the classroom requires special efforts to ensure that science learning is accessible, diverse, and inclusive. The Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem takes hands-on activities and gives all participants an opportunity to participate and engage in a meaningful way by changing the way it is delivered. In order for everyone to experience success, we challenge on one hand and give scaffolds on the other hand in this interactive session.
