Pre-Conference event (14.05.2024)
Please notice instead of Tbilisi city tours and visit to Georgian National museum, conference attendees will have the opportunity to visit former capital of Georgia – Mtskheta.
This is a popular day trip destination from Tbilisi with numerous historic sites in and around the town. Mtskheta is sometimes called “Little Jerusalem” on account of the town’s immense cultural and religious significance. Tour will be followed by the dinner in Mtskheta.
Meeting time – May 14, 14:30
Meeting and end point – Ilia State University campus. Address: 3/5 K. Cholokashvili Avenue
Bus stop name: Ilias Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti (Ilia State University) / Stop ID: 1152.

Tour busses will leave at 15:00 from ISU campus. Please make sure to be there at 14:30.
We expect to return to Tbilisi by 20:30 – 21:00.
Please kindly confirm by today, May 10, 24:00 CET if you plan to join us for this trip and whether you would like to bring along accompanying persons.
Major expenses for the trip will be covered by the costs already allocated to the city tour and museum. Participants who have not booked the tours so far and would like to join now, should bring extra 10 EUR. Same applies to the accompanying persons.
Extra cost for unforeseen dinner in Mtskheta would be 20 EUR per person for all the participants and accompanying persons.
Above mentioned extra costs are to be paid in cash to EUSEA representatives on Tuesday during the bus trip. Invoices can be issued after the conference by the EUSEA.
